While I love this story exposes Rupert Murdoch and his companies, my real question is what are going to be the consequences? If it's just a minimum fine, that's a slap of the wrist. I'm worried of what consequence he takes, it won't be enough.

If you ask, the optimal response is Murdoch give up control of the assets he owns from Fox News and Fox Sports and sell it (likely to Bezos), but I doubt that would happen.

If you follow local news, you would know the name Mandy Jenkins. She was an innovator of bringing local news to the digital space. This past week, she past away at the age of 42. She was battling breast cancer for the last few years.

It has been a crazy week for me. I officially learn that I’m part of the transition team and will be part of the layoffs in late May. Good news is my heart EF is at 50%. At this time last year, my EF was at 15%.

What are we doing?

For those wondering about my blackout, it’s not a protest of something. Today is Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent so I have to give up something for 40+ days. I do this because after Lent (Easter), something will change.

I don’t know how I feel about #Spoutible. Some of the people that I know love it, but others do have legitimate questions. I did pre-register, but when the site doesn’t have a Data Privacy Officer, I deleted my account. I do think race plays a factor, but not sure if I should be rooting for Bouzy or not.

Another thing that is happening is I'm going to physical therapy for my frozen shoulder and it has progress nicely, but I also notice a few people coming with frozen shoulder as well. I wonder COVID lingers after and inflames your body after the initial shock (heart, brain, body parts)?

I haven't been on this site because my work will officially make the merger in 2 weeks and they told us that there will be no new hires this year, so I'm likely gone, but they also say the recruiting department will temporarily be an outplacement firm, so I will be helping that out until June, plus I keep the laptop!

The Michigan State shooting happened exactly as the Anniversary of the Parkland shooting. Suspect was a 43-year old male w/ no affiliation to MSU. Banned assault rifles, security checkpoints in colleges and state borders, change gun laws, background checks…and that’s the start w/ it.

I could also say we need better reps in government, better laws.

However, I think for a few, they’re enjoying this for views and care about their own self interests and not for others and that needs to stop.
