I'm in the "old man" territory. As I age, I have actually become more socially aware and progressive. It's disheartening to see so many others in my age range who went the opposite way. They were more socially aware and progressive but became socially and politically regressive as they aged.

@journal_mo Because I'm a retired cop and also a combat vet., a hella lot of my retired cop friends and vets assume that I'm right wing too. Surprise dingos. Guess you weren't listening or watching me with peace signs and avoiding lifers while I was in the service with you, and never noticed I was never as roughshod over people as they were when we were beat cops.
