Going outside to play in dirt. 🌼
One day's growth! I asked yesterday if anyone knew of a school who could use a free kit but no one answered (if you post a pic of a growing kit, they are supposed to donate one to a school of your choice, but we homeschool), so I'll find a school district that's stood up for LGBTQ rights. Gonna get out the microscope for cool pics to submit soon.
People who think a problem with the world is that society is too defensive are always on the attack.

I find this short-sighted at best, but quite possibly actively malicious. And much of this activity is directed against a numerically tiny minority with very little political power or representation, not against a credible threat to women's rights. It's easy to wonder whether the targeting is done *because* the target is powerless and not a threat.

Thinking about how some people complain about our taxes going to welfare, and some of the same are okay with for tax dollars going to corporate bailouts, and I'm realizing I wouldn't mind paying for job providing bailouts, provided the corporations were given a lot of red hoops to jump through to prove their ethical value, the way we do to welfare recipients.
