The other day I read something that cheered me. A teacher said our modern environment means the teens are growing up with BS detectors, and will tune you out at the slightest hint of insincerity. I had a golddigger mom who listened to Zig Ziglar and Dale Carnegie constantly, and fell for every pyramid scheme in the 80s. I have a BS meter as a result, but I often can't tell you exactly what it was that I saw. I've often wished more people had it, and it's nice that we seem to be adapting.

Crap. Stupid MTG and her safe space comments have stuck in my head and I'm going to have to deal with irritating myself all day. I want her to have her damn safe space. I want her to be able to calm down, heal, grow. She won't stop being poison until this happens. Now I want to punch myself in the face for being annoying. I'm so grossed out by own damn ideals.
