Linocut advice, please. Ok, so I did a little soft rubber carving, but didn't like how crumbly and super soft it was, so I finally got my linoleum blocks. But they are grey. I trace my art in graphite and rub to transfer onto a block to carve, but graphite is grey. Will china marker work? What do y'all use?

@tippitiwichet

Maybe a white charcoal pencil (General in the US makes a good one), white color pencil or white pastel pencil would work?

@heyrhiannon I have both white and black china marker. I guess I'll try that.

@heyrhiannon After several materials, turns out the best results were with a really soft graphite. Go figure.
