I am shooketh. We discovered on vacation that Koda is starting to sight read words!
He kept pointing at signs in stores and saying "Exit". At first we were like "Oh, he probably saw it on a video or something. 'Yeah Bud, that's an Exit Sign'."
But then while in the car, he pointed at a big green and white sign on the road, and said "Exit!". Then it dawned on me, he's reading the WORD, NOT identifying an object. 😮😮😮😮

Then when we saw a stop sign, he identified it, and later, we were at an intersection waiting on a green, and he pointed at the traffic signal and said "Stop...Light". As if he was searching for a word.
It seemed like he knew words for 'light' and 'stop' from stopsign...so he put them together to mean 'A light you stop for', and that became "Stoplight".
