My oldest moved back in this summer, with the roommate who was sheltering her after my breakdown. Naturally, they came in assuming I am the main problem. But now Joe is gone again, the roommate is getting to know me away from his influence and attempts to control the family dynamics even though he struggles with addiction. Now the timid young lady (autistic, trans, traumatized) is more comfortable with me. She makes eye contact and seems relaxed around me and everything :).
