Indoor garden update. While sunflowers tower above the house outdoors, indoors has been flattened. I got tired of trying to maintain microbial diversity and balance while battling spider mites, they were even causing malformed pitcher leaves to come up. Also, my chores are too much for me to handle right now, so everything was plowed down, my soil was sanitized in the oven, and my collection of pots was cut in half. The extra room was filled with decorations, and fairy lights were added :).
I still have three pitcher plants, including Celia, hopefully the sundews survive (they were suffering from sprays of Dawn and alcohol). My vanilla is fine and intact, the pink dandelions are already spotted with green as they come back. So, the best of it is still there.
