I may not be able to live in this state if they criminalize abortions and attach the death penalty for trying to get an abortion.
So, to put this in context, if I am violently raped and have an abortion, I could be subject to the death penalty.
That’s some medieval view of women as chattel.
@evamarie @CinnamonGirlE @LiberalLibrarian To put it further in context, if you are in a stressful relationship and it causes you to miscarry and the dad decides you tried to induce that miscarriage to get out of the relationship or get back at him, you can be subject to the death penalty.
