My first ever carrot harvest is for the birds :). I clip the tops to offer them for fresh greens sometimes, this is the first baby carrot they get. Hoping they will like these more than the larger ones, which they don't touch. Got a mixed color packet to see what colors might tempt them, this will be the first of many for these spoiled wee beasties. Grown in a kitchen window with supplemental lighting.
@redenigma It makes perfect sense, but no it hadn't occurred to me to try it. Hmm, I bet some sauces and smoothies would be interesting as well. Thanks :).
