Caught the birds thinking about leaving the cage for playtime. They usually don't, though they've settled in enough to learn to eat sprouts, and I found a new food they love that isn't seed. (Cooked and dried peas. Not fresh peas. Not cooked peas. Not dried peas. Must be cooked, then dried. Birds are toddlers.)

@tippitiwichet Tried spray millet yet? Also, a disk (not a big one either) cut from an ear of raw sweet corn is a treat.

@TwiHusband To lure them out? Yup. They won't even go for it if I pin it to the twig and walk away. I'm about to start pushing them a little by separating them (I don't like the thought of one being isolated in the bedroom), but in March is a bird show and I'm going looking for a female. So I need to step it up with Sunny because when I get her, he goes back in the bedroom with Sky, and I work with her, then Sunny and she will be isolated in a breeding cage while I work with Sky. Or something.
