Okay, @fernfren now the center of the purple pitcher looks like this, but I think I see five sepals, so probably not another new growth point, right? Maybe this is finally my first flower from them? I tried to stimulate growth for plant recovery, I think they think it's spring with all the misting.
@fernfren Pretty sure the best pitchers I've had have been in the fall with this one too. Uugh, I hate it when they make me wait.

mmm... my money is on growth point. if it's a flower it'll be unmistakable soon enough. 🙃 i'm getting a little growth surge now that the oppressive heat is gone and it's been rainy. new traps pop up half-height overnight
i know S. leucophylla really shines in the fall, not sure about purpurea
