I'd heard that the nectar of pitcher plants can cause paralysis, but I got to see it in action this morning. Lil dude must have flown in last night, he was attracted to the lights when I turned them on, and very active. Until he landed on Judy and took a sip. I harassed him a lot with the needle before I pulled out the camera, not a twitch. Tried to go back for a better shot, but he was deep in the tube.
