Looking at news of a drought, wildfire potential for my area. Looking at the skies, and seeing something I've been seeing since April, when the rain should have started falling. Cloudy skies, the promise of rain, and only the slightest chance of it falling for a few minutes, maybe, right around sunset. It's not hitting the dewpoint. It's too hot. The water is in the area, it will not fall. I bet we get blizzards this winter, and some will say that is proof everything is fine.

The chance of rain passed, no rain fell. We heard thunder. The wind shakes the trees. The ground looks as dry as it does in summer. I'll have to water, I can't trust the skies. The promise of rain passes again, unfulfilled.

@tippitiwichet Meanwhile in Bermuda, we've had record rainfall for May. 🌧️

@mos_flow I'm sure that feels fun with rising water levels. How are your beaches? Are you seeing stuff do the thing?
