No, I don't think I will identify the Nepenthes sp I bought simply labeled, "carnivorous plant". I have never owned this species, have no idea what it is, and I am absolutely in love with the sense of mystery, of watching something grow with zero idea of what's about to happen. Thank you, irresponsible grower, for this gift of wonder you have given me.

@Joyinthecountry The first flytrap in my collection, the first insect they caught was a mosquito, I delighted that their first taste was blood.
@tippitiwichet given you’ve already named the genus, replying with “it’s a pitcher plant” seems both insufficient, and silly. 🤪🤣
@fuse Look.I'm one of those people who copes with research, and chapter one of my "coloring book" that might look more like a graphic novel is 3,500 words titled "How A Venus Flytrap Digests It's Prey", it starts with bog formation and wanders through bog body preservation, I can't believe I've made it to this point in the project and I don't know what this is, given I'm on ch 2 (other wetlands and plants). I just absolutely adore how much we can study and still not know a thing. :)
@tippitiwichet If it starts saying "feed me, I'm hungry", I'd RUN!!
