Here’s a first look at director Guillermo del Toro’s . It’s been a dream of the filmmaker to adapt Mary Shelley’s classic horror story into a film.

This is a project he’s been trying to direct most of his career, and judging from this first image, it looks like it will be a beautiful and visually stunning film.

I agree with many that this trailer for the new isn't really giving Cruel Intentions. But what sold me on seeing it was Sarah Catherine Hook being the primary lead.

Many people HATE Sarah Catherine Hook because of the trainwreck that was the quickly cancelled series ... but I saw only Sarah Catherine Hook and SHE was impressive as a DEBUT actress. She looks amazing in the trailer and I look forward to seeing her work now.

I mentioned not too long ago. I was really excited when I heard it would be available with English subtitles soon. That time has come. A English subbed trailer has dropped.

is a co-pro between lots of different companies, but the Gaelic-language series was ostensibly made for BBC Gaeilge and Irish-language channel TG4.

I hope to get my hands on it soon.

You have probably never heard of the Alevis, and this is no accident. According to the Turkish government, over 99 percent of its citizens are Muslim, but this statistic is sociopolitically misleading.

An estimated 15-25 percent of Turks are a part of the community, an ethno-religious and largely secularized minority group which is not recognized by the Turkish constitution. Alevis number around 20-25 million, comparable in size to the Jewish population.

The design process involved an extensive examination of both oral and written cultural documents to understand the sociological conditions of the Alevis community, with ample research focused on ensuring that the design would meet the community's cultural and ritualistic needs, all while countering social exclusion.

The architectural design of the Küçükçekmece Djemevi was conceived in response to the socio-political climate of Istanbul, where identity-based policies have led to the marginalization of certain groups.

This project was designed specifically to provide the Alevi community with a legitimate and inclusive space aligned with their cultural traditions, particularly the "cem" ritual.

EAA-Emre Arolat has recently released its absolutely phenomenal design for the Küçükçekmece Djemevi, a new concept for a civic space in Istanbul designed to combat social exclusion and provide a comfortable and inviting environment for the community.

The concept was recognized during the World Architecture Festival 2024, earning them the award of Future Project of the Year in recognition of its social inclusivity and careful adaptation to local traditions and needs.

With the CW on my mind a lot lately I was looking up some stuff about the old cast of many of the shows and saw that Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow) and Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) are in a movie together called Queen of the Ring, the story of the first female pro wrestler Mildred Burke, who wrestled over 200 men.

It's so wonderful to see them together and working on something together. Tyler is freakin HUGE and Emily looks amazing. ❤️

24% deep sleep and I'm off like a rocket this morning. A little over 3 miles on the while watching ... that old 2003 drama with Kathryn Morris.

The first episode had in it. I really love her work though I know she's not popular with most people. She's very genuine on screen and I think that comes off as bad acting. House Of Cards really allowed her to come through.

Great workout!

Been showing @IronButterfly because she's never seen it and S2E9 was the backdoor pilot for which technically didn't air until the following year. It's been clear as Ive been rewatching Arrow that they were dropping hints as early as S1 when Laurels mom says she's going to catch the train back to Central City and she'll "be home in a flash" and that's well before The Flash was even on production. They always had a plan.

This is the future newspaper in The Flash ... 2024.🤣

The morning wouldn't be complete without Tauri sitting on my keyboard and typing his own message. This is his thanks as well ... or it says shutup and feed me ... or I'll miss my sister-cousin even though she hated me and liked slapping my big orange head. Or all of the above. 🤣

Thanks to everyone for your kindness and supportive words yesterday. They are all deeply appreciated. ❤️

94/92 after an absolutely brutal day yesterday is a testament to my ability to recover and know what my body and mind needs.

Rest and recovery isn't just for your body. Your mind needs rest and recovery too, especially from trauma. Sleep isn't always enough. Passing out from stress isn't as relaxing as it may feel, it's mental and physical shutdown which is bad.

Even though I don't technically need it, today is going to be another rest day. ❤️
