Finally getting to watch and all it is doing is making me miss Iman Vellani so, so much. Kamala and her family were just so wonderful and so real and true and I miss them and the show deserved to exist and she deserved to be a part of all of this epicness forever and ever ... This movie is wonderful because she is so wonderful as an actress and as this character and I miss her ... so much.

Had lunch with my nephew and his new girlfriend. She's amazing AF. Love her. Drove by my old house where I grew up and my mom lived and died and saw the door was open and construction stuff so I took a chance and went down. I thought I was gonna get lynched but the people there were so kind. I told them I grew up there and they were so excited. We talked a long time. The wife is autistic and a programmer. She talked kindly about all the landscaping my mom had done as well. Glad I stopped.

My God my God my God Jenn Lyon is fantabulous in this role. I hope we will see more of her but I doubt it.

I just made an amazing drink and I'm drunk AF already.

Whiskey (Aged with Metallica music), green apple syrup, peach sour mix, watermelon juice ... OMG so good. So strong.

@IronButterfly is very pleased with it.

VIRTUAL CHALLENGES ARE FINALLY HERE!

has been guarding this secret with the same dedication as Jedi Masters guarding their lightsabers! Now, after months of meticulous planning and unrelenting passion, the moment has arrived.

Each challenge follows an epic scene from a STAR WARS adventure. They feature iconic maps from a galaxy far, far away that include the deserts of Tatooine, the icy expanses of Hoth, and the fiery landscapes of Mustafar.

The Thai parliament’s upper house should promptly pass a same-sex marriage bill that the lower house approved by an overwhelming majority on March 27, 2024.

Thailand would become the first country in Southeast Asia, and the second in Asia, to recognize same-sex relationships.

Thailand’s House of Representatives passed the Marriage Equality Act with the approval of 400 of the 415 members present. Ten voted against the bill, two abstained, and three did not vote.

Finally got enough BusyBoxes for all 😆 These are on a wall that everyone can see from where they work. Laurence (room on the right) often has a lot of work calls and zoom meetings and sometimes @IronButterfly are out in the main room laughing or whatever so he can turn on his ON A CALL sign and we can see it lit up. Similarly, when I am recording out here in the main room, he will know to come out quietly or close his door if he was watching Star Trek (when isn't he 🤣) or listening to music.

Aketch being Aketch ❤️

Yesterday marked TEN YEARS since Flint, MI has been without clean water.

Mari Copeny, aka Little Miss Flint, who is now 16 years old, has dedicated her life to talking about environmental racism and the state’s role in many forms of harm.

I come across a lot of emotional dysregulated people online and while the most common emotion I see out of control is anger ... I notice that jealousy is also high on that list.

The key to understanding any emotion is understanding how it correlates to others. Many people, for example, have no idea that anger IS NOT prime emotion ... it is an derivative of fear. So is jealousy.

Jealousy, guilt, shame, anxiety, anger, and depression are ALL derivatives of FEAR.

Yesterday was a super productive day and I managed to get some gaming in for balance. If I can pull off this new schedule I will be really happy especially if I can get back to writing at the same time.

Looking forward to another productive day. I have a lot to do still with reediting my essays and musings to make them more readable (pull quotes, grammar checks, paragraph breaks etc) ... I want to do maybe 4 or 5 a day at least until all 100 are done.

The original with Sir Patrick is on BritBox if anyone is interested in this very short lived series.

An American remake with Rufus Sewell and Marley Shelton was also very short lived. The music in the remake was composed by Graeme Revell and it was HELLA good.

with Laurence. He's back from his out of state training and will be starting his new project soon. Enjoying some epic and this nice weather before the freeze we're supposed to get tonight ...

Tauri is in his favorite mood this morning. It's called One Brain Cell Chaos 🤣

Officials broke ground Monday on what’s being billed as the first “true” high-speed rail system in the U.S.

From West, it will feature fully electric trains reaching speeds of 200 mph. The average speed will be around 115 mph.

With a projected ridership of 10 million people per year, the 218-mile rail line is being constructed in the middle of the I-15 highway.

The goal is to have it running in time for Los Angeles to host the 2028 Summer Olympics.
