After prison, Shyne reemerged in his native Belize, where he transitioned from music to politics, ultimately becoming the Leader of Opposition Party. His journey is one of redemption, resilience, and transformation. This documentary provides an intimate look at Shyne’s personal evolution as he navigates fame, incarceration and a return home to Belize, where he finds new purpose and strives to lead his country to a brighter future.
The Honorable #Shyne tells the remarkable story of Moses “Shyne” Barrow, the Grammy Award-winning musician turned politician. A rising star in the late 1990s, Shyne’s promising rap career was cut short after being charged in a high-profile New York nightclub shooting, along with rap impresario Sean “Puffy” Combs. Shyne was convicted in 2001 and sentenced to ten years in prison, while Combs was acquitted.

90/89 on a Thursday is absolutely great.
This was night 2 using my #weightedblanket. Morning 2 of waking up with no pain. Though my #chronicpain does creep up during the day, I just don't wake up in pain which is new.
Sleeping hot is something I don't prefer even though it's much better for your body to be warm when you sleep. The weighted blanket causes my RESTLESS score to be red because it takes so much to maneuver that thing 🤣 like MINUTES of time.

This #Bikerguard invention, created by two engineers in Slovenia, is a remote-controlled wiper blade for #motorcycle helmet visors.
You do have to drive two screws through the top of your visor to attach the mounting base, and you can then pop the Bikerguard on and off as needed. A wireless remote control attaches to your bike's handlebars.

My #RotoVR chair should be arriving today. I am so excited to be able to experience VR like this.
Anything that makes VR more accessible is something I absolutely champion. This will help a lot more people be able to enjoy VR games, experiences, concerts etc much more easily and comfortably.
My #MCTD is already thankful ❤️

Interwoven with Rosa's narrative are Nanfu’s poignant reflections on her Chinese upbringing and of eroding democratic norms in the US, revealing unsettling similarities to the authoritarian system she left behind.

CELEBRATE every day of waking up and DECIDING to be here in this reality with everyone.
CELEBRATE every day of waking up and DECIDING to be positive for yourself and others.
CELEBRATE not giving up even when things are hard.
CELEBRATE deciding to try again and again and again and again to get where you want to get in your life.
CELEBRATE never losing your light.
Contrary to what Yoda said, trying requires determination and performing actions. Trying isn't passive.
TRYING IS DOING.
When people who have never experienced one moment of hardship are sitting in their billion dollar houses polishing their golf clubs and wearing thousand dollar suits and telling you that trying isn't enough ... they mean that you not working hard enough for THEM isn't making THEM enough money and they your success is ultimately THEIRS.
They don't give a shit about you or what your daily life is like or how you find strength to wake up every day just to be a slave so they can buy golf clubs.
