On October 14th 2023 the solar eclipse gave photographer Ryan Imperio the perfect opportunity to capture Baily's Beads.

Baily's Beads occur when the sun shines through the valleys and craters on the moon’s surface, allowing light to leak through the mass darkening event.

Ryan documented the perfect half-rings from a spot in Odessa, Texas, piecing together about 30 images into a brilliant, repetitious composite that won him 2024 Astronomy Photographer of the Year.

The Borderlands movie has finally crawled out of theaters and it came out beaten, bloody, and bruised.

#Borderlands had a production 𝙗𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙤𝙛 $115 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙣 and its distributor Lionsgate added an 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖 $30 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙣 to that for marketing and distribution costs.

It 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 $31 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙣 which means 𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙖 $114 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙨.

Maybe they'll now learn to stop making movies they have no understanding of, no care about, and absolutely no business making ...

I mentioned to @janallmac that I'd been back on my #aeroski lately. I bought one I think 2 years after they came out. I have one of the original models. I have always loved it and I don't use the poles or the bar. I am on the aeroski while watching television and it's brutal when you're struggling with chronic fatigue since you need to maintain balance all the time. It is, though, one of the BEST workout machines I have ever owned next to a rowing machine as far as working your entire body.

Resting heart rate is still janked up from the vaccine. It's been 13 days since I got it. The fatigue is still pretty bad as well but the heart rate issues are more concerning.

I have been having HRV issues since June though and I think maybe getting the vaccine on top of the issues I was already having has made things worse because now the fatigue is horrendous and breathing isn't ideal either.

I see my doctor on the 16th. Not that it will help much.

Time for bed and The Wren In The Holy Library. I'm enjoying the work of Stephanie Németh-Parker more than the story itself. It's a bit too underdeveloped for me but her performances are really wonderful and her voice is great. I will absolutely look for other books narrated by her after I finish this one. 👍🏾

I have been really looking forward to the new #RedSonja film ... but there have been delays and stuff and a trailer was supposed to come out and it never did.

Finally we have a behind the scenes shot of Matilda Lutz in full costume and she looks amazing! Makes me even more excited about what's to come.

The movie is being developed by Millennium Media and director M.J. Bassett ... I'm really keeping my fingers crossed!

ohhh spitting absolute FACTS.

I have mentioned before about people policing other people's emotions even normal ones ... I'm not talking about dysregulated madness that harms others, I just mean normal human emotional reactions to LIFE. Policing facial expressions and postures etc ... its almost always directed at members of the #GlobalMajority

Vaccine still kicking my ass ...

My temp is finally down to normal but my heart rate is still all over the place and the fatigue just sucks the life out of me all day long. Doing my best to push through. I'm in for the long haul ... meaning probably well into next year before I will feel any better.
