has finally heard back from Voyager 1.

Launched in 1977 to study Jupiter and Saturn, Voyager 1 has been exploring interstellar space — the space between star systems — since 2012. It stopped sending back understandable data last November. Flight controllers traced the blank communication to a bad computer chip and rearranged the spacecraft’s coding to work around the trouble.

Contact was never lost, but was like making a phone call where you can’t hear the person on the other end.

Feeling amazing this morning. 👍🏾

I am almost ready to start my new creative schedule and making content every week. My blog is almost redesigned and ready for new content.

I said I was gonna give myself one more week and then I needed to get started actually creating; doing something for ME, not for other people, and having fun and expanding on the stuff I'm already doing regularly like listening to audiobooks, watching Kdrama, reading comics etc.

After yesterday ... actually the whole weekend ... I went to bed in so much pain. Woke up in pain ... could barely move actually. I walked four steps over the sauna and sat in there for 48 minutes. Stretched my arms and shoulders and neck a bit while I was in there.

When I had about 15 minutes left, my entire body was feeling so loose and so much better. It was really incredible. It will make a HUGE difference in the kind of day I have today.

Both myself and @IronButterfly have been working on the kitchen since a little after noon.

I haven't been in this much pain for a very long time ... I have been on my feet most of the time which really hurts my knees and back. I can barely sit. I cannot bend.

I am ... frankly ... crying.

Pain flares can bring tears to my eyes but this is also me overworking, trying to get things done.

I'm happy about what we accomplished today ... but I did too much and will need 2-3 days of recovery.

Tribe pic minus Dr. Song who is an honorary member but doesn't live with us. Over 40 years of friendship and family here. ❤️

Laurence got a new job after being out of work for almost a year. Big company that does onboarding and 2 day training out of state. So we are taking him to the station. Really great job, fully remote (aside from this training), great salary, and work that he loves doing and is great at. Really proud of him. ❤️ He will be missed for these few days.

These are the numbers that are perfect for a day when I have to do tons of manual labor that is gonna take a lot of spoons and a lot of time. Even better is the message "Resilience STRONG and RISING". I love that sentence. ❤️

Feeling AHHmazing today 👍🏾 Gonna be able to get a ton done after breakfast and hopefully get most of the kitchen rearranging done today.

🎉

When you are unhealed you can't hear anything through a clear lens.

Most of the stuff I get from white people in regards to anti-racism is usually defensiveness, anger, emotional dysregulation, discomfort ... basically just tons and tons of fear ...

Unhealed people are dangerous and harmful in all kinds of situations and for all kinds of reasons.

has great material and workshops that focus on DEI, healing, and learning.

His recent series on social media about Unhealed White Folks In Anti-Racist Spaces is one of the reasons why I almost 99% don't discuss racism with white people or really anything reality based with anyone. The level of unhealed and dysregulated people in the world makes it impossible to have normal conversation on nearly any topic.

Love these feet soaking boots I got for @IronButterfly. I can fill with hot water and soaking salts and sit and my desk and game at the same time. Can even walk in them (slowly) in a pinch 🤣

One of my most favorite actresses, is on the 2024 Time 100 Most Influential People. If you don't know Alia ... get to know her. ❤️ I have posted about her epicness a few times here.

Really you guys? Actually Tauri was her first and Vir was like ... "Lemme just get in here. I can use your fluffy butt for a pillow. There's room right? OMG there's totally room."

Tauri fell asleep on my desk right on top of a Ziploc bag full of some things I needed. I asked him if I could trade with him. I offered him Adam my Existential Dread duck and he accepted my offer.

I just found something I have always needed but didn't know existed until now ...

In the process of preparing for homelessness we started moving everything into pre-paid storage and I wanted a way to keep track of what was where beyond writing on the top of a box or keeping a list somewhere.

These Smart Labels were EXACTLY what I needed. I didn't even know these were a thing!

Now we have to take EVERYTHING out of storage and RE-LABEL IT with these. Worth the trouble!
