This is supposed to be a rest day for me but I have to play tech support to my 80+ year old dad this afternoon.
My dad uses his computer for 2 things ... using chrome and zoom meetings with his church. That's it. He checks email, pays bills online, shops at amazon ... a web browser and zoom.
It's this ancient AIO machine that finally crapped out and he's like ... "I need a top of the line replacement" ... Top of the line? 🤣 For WHAT? 🤣 For using chrome?
I was like man, get a tablet 🤣
@thewebrecluse this random person gave up my laptop years ago ( actually the laptop up and died on me) l replaced it with an lpad mini and am very happy with it. There are some ( few) online forms and websites that l need to use my spouses computer for though

@thewebrecluse towards the end, I was helping dad with password resets about 20 hours a week.
And he had a password manager 😳
@Beanc I have remote access to his machine if he needs any help like that but I had to setup a new pc for him this afternoon and it's like he thought he had to relearn how to use chrome. I was like dude its the same thing you already use 🤣 he uses a password manager AND a sheet of paper with stuff written on it 🤣
OMG finally home .................. THAT WAS LIKE 5 HOURS!
