Social Security is an earned benefit, not an "entitlement" - let's spread the word - we all paid for these benefits, it's not a freebie, it's something we all paid into and we deserve for it be there for us when we need it!

@themikeschiller The trillions of dollars borrowed from the fund needs to be returned to the fund. Bills that are being introduced do not include any reference to the federal government repaying the fund. They are about raising the tax to prop it up so it can survive. Politicians have stolen from us for far too long. #politics

While I appreciate your point, it's the definition of "entitlement" that's being corrupted, and I think that's the fight we should have.
You are entitled to Social Security because you paid for it; you're not being an entitled jerk for insisting on it.
It's "title" as in "title to your house/car/etc.", as opposed to "title of hereditary/unearned nobility".
