: the buddy movie we need to see

: Eliot's been working up a trailer or two for the movie lately, and he hit paydirt late yesterday. They're short, but they're not teaser short. They're better than the movie, of course, but I'm refraining from sharing my thoughts again on what happened to it just before, during, and after it shot. I'm happy he has two or three good trailers. He's done yeoman's work, seriously, salvaging what he could out of his first screenplay shot, and he's learned valuable lessons.

: Sleep schedule's all fakkakte, but it's better than it was last month.

I'm sleep 4ish hours at night and 4 to 5 hours during the day.

I should have it back on track, though, I hope, before The Big Trip at month-end.

: Librarifying my personal library proceeds apace. I'm only 163 book in, but I've only been doing it since yestereve. Dewey-Decimilization is fun. That said, I know I'll be clawing my own hair out when it comes time to label the spines and make the tri-cards.

: Instagram flagged and removed a comment I made about Kanye West's apparent mental condition. I used a burn that @JolieSaboteuse shared here not too long ago.

I commented that Mr. West was "thicker than a submarine door" and also crazier than a shithouse rat.

That apparently constituted bullying and harassment.

Our recently completed low-budget slasher may be sitting in a distributor vault for a long time, just like a friend's three-years-ago sold slasher. I can only hold out hope that it winds up like "A Christmas Story", languishing for years in a vault until a new studio boss said to find stuff that could be released so that they could save money that year, and then they wound up making a mint off what came to be the preeminent Murican Xmas film of the second half of the 20th century.
