: I once stopped a purse-snatcher by hollering at him that I had just mopped the floor and that it was wet. He instantly stopped and reflexively tried not to slide. The floor is not wet, and I didn’t even work at the mall. He was apprehended within a few seconds by the security guard chasing him. I was 13.
That is interesting shows us how conditioned we are to certain things.
