Yep I too vote for the Gibson.
Especially if you have already read the others in the Sprawl trilogy, Neuromancer and Count Zero,

But it is not necessary to have read the first two.

@corlin Thanks, I had forgotten its a trilogy and I was missing the middle book, that's why I hadn't read it.
