To try to sum some stuff.
I went back to work and broke again.
I went into inpatient this time and it may have been a great thing since they feel that my previous diagnosis and medication was way NO BUENO. Like, do not give these meds to these people bc it will make things worse. And I'd been on them for about 8 years.
So, new diagnosis with new medication regime. But that's a hopeful thing in my opinion.
I'm currently in outpatient learning coping skills etc.
So, Hi!
Laura Branigan - "Gloria"
1982 and I never crushed so hard on someone as I was crushing on her. Man oh man.
So I attended a Mental Health First Aid training today. Really interesting. They went through how to spot signs and symptoms that people are struggling, getting worse, or in crisis. They also talked about how to listen, how to use nonjudgmental language, how to encourage people, and how to connect people to professional help. Came back with lots.of resources and a lot of food for thought.
They offer US classes here:

They do offer classes internationally, too.
@testamonk @Minholkin I think kindness costs a little bit. Nothing is truly free. But kindness is worth it, and pays off not just for you, but for everyone. It's a good investment, and a solid choice. And it's a lot less expensive than cruelty or apathy.

Apologies. I'm getting the hang of this just like everyone else .
