They sure do. I had 29K followers when I #deactivated last November. Only a handful followed me to #coso, and promptly left declaring it was too boring.

It took weeks but I saw my own participation in the toxic battle on #twitter. And was horrified.
Since #deactivating from #twitter, Facebook and Tribel, my health and well-being have improved dramatically.
