@InUnfunky Well, he's told that story many times - landed in Atl while on the bounce as a journeyman player, and stuck. Which is ok. I like some of the interviews, what makes this song great (which has pretty much disappeared), and the old teaching stuff could be useful. But he's gotten obsessed with the charts, even though they're less meaningful than ever. Bleah - fealty to the industry POV takes you off my list.
More time for Uncle Larry.

@InUnfunky Beato. Generating a lot of buzz, mostly negative.
I mean, it's an industry-oriented, shit premise one might expect of Lefsetz.

Rick B. - "Creativity fades at 30."
Robert Smith - "Imma just leave this here...."

@CanisPundit As a former choir director/song leader, I endorse this project.

@catlynne333 Desperation and the usual bluster from Paxton. Big Ken thinks the key to succeeding Abbott (and, to staying out of jail) is to constantly battle the Feds.

RIP Janey Godley, she who waved the sign "Trump Is A Cunt" at his events in Scotland.
Here is her hilarious voiceover of a Bear and her cubs crossing the road.

"After several laps of making the corner with no issue whatsoever, whenever a car appears on the outside... and it only seems to happen to one of the Red Bulls...that car suddenly develops a problem where it can't turn left."
Aidan Millward with a nice bit of British understatement as we head into the Sprint weekend.

Kamala trolls trump by going to a barbershop. And of course she does a much better job.

@mcfate Name of original poster: The Rude Pundit (Lee Papa) - trust me, it fits.
To sum: this would be a real democracy.
Unstated (but, again, in the larger picture of his commentaries, the "and..." is a given): Yeah, fat chance, so what am I going to do?
You absolutely get the point, just not his giving you the credit for being able to think it through.

@mcfate Which agrees with what I think the larger point is. First be clear-eyed about what we actually have to work with, not an idealized view. Then dig harder. If the ideal is impossible, don't pretend you're living there - then you have a chance to be effective.
Rude may be vulgar, and certainly deals in hyperbole (humorist, of a sort, after all) but is pretty realistic in the larger view of his commentaries.

@mcfate I think the "stuck" feeling is part of his point...that particular imbalance is baked in, although things like DC (and PR!) statehood would help move the needle just a little.

@Maude Gee, Trump could probably get the rights to play "Up in the Air, Junior Birdmen!"

@DyDave The one Gibson truly on my wish list...
That touch of anger in the tone that Johnny Winter mined so well...
