One fact that I discovered many moons ago is the level of amusement, exasperation and general dismissiveness that many Jewish people hold towards the way that Christians approach the Old Testament.
As smart and educated students of more than just the Five Books of Moses, they tend to laugh at the approach of many Christians, regarding it as nothing more than superficial cherry-picking, with no historical understanding.
