Finding my way... I really don't like this interface. I have bad vision, even with glasses, so my fonts etc. are set to large, so that means your site doesn't really fit on my laptop window. I hate having to scroll so much. I'm sure I'm not the only older person who has this problem...
@Talene Thanks! Didn't know I could do that...
@suzannelan mmm...i don't have any suggestions for those who have vision issues but i'm hoping #cosotips might be able to offer some suggestions.
i know you can zoom in & out but not necessarily how. & if the scrolling is about it jumping, if you scroll a bit down, it will stop & you can control it. but i'm hoping others will jump in to help.
there's also a way to make the screen lighter: https://counter.social/@MrGoat/109246820688691888
@singlemaltgirl No, it's not about jumping. It's about having to scroll. Right now the notifications are on the far right. If I want to see the screen to the right of that, I have to scroll over to the right. If I'm over there and click on reply, a window comes up over here, and I have to scroll back to the left. Also, after I type here, I have to scroll down to click on Post! Very irritating. All because I have my screen zoomed in (so I can see it better).
@suzannelan you can get rid of some of the columns to help a bit. you can get it down to 3. just unpin the columns you don't want to use. that might help.
@suzannelan you can move columns left or right to adjust as you wish with the arrows that appear when you touch the 3 bars on the right side of the column, as per the left hand photo.
and here's a chart as well.🔻
@suzannelan It takes some getting used to. One thing that might help is unpinning some of the columns so that it takes up less real estate. I hope it works out for you. It's worth the effort, in my opinion.
