Does that look like a explosion? Or could it be a demolition explosion? Cause I'm seeing like those orange tape across the sides of the road. ^^
Yea, they wouldn't allow cars to be driving on the same road a demo is occurring.

There seemed to be a lot of orange barriers which suggests that maybe there was major work being done, in which case there might be fewer casualties if the building was closed to the public.
Nonetheless, that was a *big* explosion.

Nope. It was open and people were rescued from the higher floors. Not sure when they'll be able to search the bank area.
I hadn't noticed the orange barriers. Maybe bc it's pretty typical to see barriers in NYC, so I thought nothing of them π€·ββοΈπ
