@mickcarty Today, while watching QI I learned that "Dundee United" is Nigerian slang for "idiot" due to united's disastrous tour there years ago. Apparrently, most modern Nigerians use it but don't know that Dundee actually exists!

Ironically the nickname originated from a tour arranged by the man who went on to become our most successful manager ever, rivalling Sir Alex Ferguson in Scotland.
