Storm Ciaran has arrived in earnest.
Anxiety is spiking a little as it always has in bad weather since our flood.
I'm good. We have had a brand new back door fitted this summer and the seal is so much better. New, bigger and better drains too.

Landlord is absolutely on the case.
Hopefully only 8 to 10 weeks. Might be spending Christmas in an air bnb. We can live with that! @Mauve_matelot

As things currently stand, we have 4 nights remaining at our posh pad. The carpet has been removed from the bedroom, and kitchen kickboards have been replaced at our home.
Drainage troughs are due to be added to the courtyard. I'm not sure if they will meet connected to Drains or Soakaway.
We expect another update from our letting agency in the next 48 hours.
We are due to visit family 1-9 December so it's all a bit crazy at the moment.

Thank you so much for the update on your journey through this flood-recovery! I’m glad they got you someplace nice for a short while, yet this all sounds so hard. Glad their making progress- hopefully done by Dec 9…. Maybe you can be somewhat settled before the holidays 🙏🏼❤️
