I wanted to share a memory that I was able to paint. Back in the mid 90's my mother picked up all three of us siblings and left my father behind. We traveled from MA, all the way to AR, in under 3 days, traveling the highways in an old beat up station wagon and resting whenever we could at rest stops. I remembered seeing this sunset over the cornfields stretching across Kansas and how I smiled to myself, knowing that some day I'd paint it. "Sunset"
