The three songs in this thread hold a unique record in pop music.
Three *different* songs, by three *different* acts with *one shared title* and *all three* topped the charts in the UK.
Never happened before or since.

Her version, to my ears, has too much of her trademark vocal gymnastics. I listened to it just yesterday. It was well sung, but the technical nature of her performance meant it lost much of the passion and heartfelt emotion of the original. However. Dire, was far too strong a word!
@stueytheround No worries! I'm no Celine super-fan, but the Canadian in me kicked in. 😉 P.S. You should hear Air Supply's version if you want to hear cringe...
