My grandmother had a bad stroke and isn't expected to recover. We're heading over to help my father take care of things while we wait for the inevitable.

Ugh.

Made it to her house. My parents, brother, his wife, and all our dogs are here, and it still feels empty.

So it may still be weeks before she actually passes. She did get moved from the ICU to a hospice room so at least she's more comfortable even if she's not really aware of it.

We spent the weekend clearing all the spoiled food and a lot of miscellaneous junk out of her house, and also made good progress at cataloging the art, furniture, jewelry, and other nicer stuff.

We're back home now while we continue waiting for The Call.
