@voltronic I wish I could get along with Adele's songs.
It isn't the songs themselves, they're almost aleays brilliantly written and Adele is undeniably incredibly talented. It's her enunciation/pronunciation when dhe sings. Particularly the vowel sounds. It grates on me and I can't quite put my finger on why, but it makes it really hard for me to listen to her sing.

I know exactly what you're talking about. Adele doesn't bug me, but this is the exact reason I could never enjoy Pearl Jam or Dave Matthews Band. Or Bob Dylan, for that matter. Great songwriting, but I want to hear it performed by someone else.
