I absolutely love the idea of shipping the batch training of AI models to data centers fed by renewables in order to mop up surplus capacity and generate revenue without requiring additional grid infrastructure. We could simply ship the valuable compute job to the location with the greatest momenary surplus of renewable capacity instead of shipping the electricity to a fixed datacenter fed by the grid. Much cheaper.
I had a feeling that some day, a combination of economic reality and nimbyism would sway even the most ardent climate deniers to oppose new fossil fuel investments. Seems like we're starting to see it here.

I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.

@ToolPackinMama I plan on taking a family trip with my two sons to have our pictures taken with our nutsacks resting on his headstone.
A potential Trump juror, asked about his hobbies, gave us a little too much personal information: “I try to find a wife in my spare time," he said. "It’s not working.”
It's going to be fascinating to hear from the kind of person who, at this stage in the game, is ambivalent about Trump. What's going on in their lives? How do they think?
