Watched Civil War with my teenage son. He was fine and was talking about the themes and the cinematography, but honestly it's the toughest thing to watch.

Would be a great time for a talented statesmen capable of bringing everyone other than Israel, Palestine, and Iran together and get an agreement on this conflict that prevents this regional conflict from engulfing the planet in WW3 when we should be working to resolve the climate crisis.

We need to treat suicide like we treat other issues surrounding bodily autonomy.
That starts with us each getting comfortable with the idea that those we love may choose to live their life (including its end) differently than we'd like.
That's down to us and the conversations we have with each other. I've told my kids that I have no intention of living out my final years like my elderly uncle. The key is to have those discussions early.

@danialexis exactly! The idea that the New Testament is somehow so much better than the Old Testament is so odd. There wasn't the concept of an eternity burning in fire for not believing in someone until the New Testament.
