They're the ones about to see huge claims as increasingly frequent and extreme events caused by climate change start to bite economically for many who deny climate change is real.
@Agatha @stuartblair I heard from my insurance agent that the company I used to work for completely dropped their home and auto lines recentlyโฆand this was a midwestern company! He said it was a shock to them. All home & auto policies through that company were non-renewed. He said agents were scrambling that had lots of policies with that company.
That's happening constantly here. I've had 4 or so insurance companies in 7 years. They keep quiting the state, which means those that do stay have very high priced plans and are VERY picky about roof, siding, even small amounts of leaves in gutters - everything.

I feel sorry for those with no choice but to live there (mainly those who can't afford to uproot).
