Ran away to Mexico for the first time. New lifer birds- brown pelican & long-billed curlew; lots of stray/feral dogs; gave away food to a school and abjectly poor people in a shantytown; walked along the beach; mariachi bands serenaded us during supper; oyster farms; saw the border wall, a defunct open-pit copper mine, and got my first pedicure in 11 years (which felt amazing!)
