I don't know if it's a result of getting older or a result of not having wifi at home just yet but lately,I've found within myself a very deep philosophical streak.Plenty of time to think with fewer distractions at the minute,possibly.
Anyhow,I was lying in bed last night,looking at the stars and got to thinking about other forms of life out there.Every star is a sun with planets orbiting it and there's more stars in the night sky than there are grains of sand on every beach in the world.
@FrankCannon Stop this fucking tomfoolery at once! Where's Frank? And who are you?
I actually think about this kind of stuff a lot, but yeah, you definitely need to get your WiFi sorted and get back to watching old episodes of Pinky and The Brain 😝
@BillyBones I need another hobby.😂
@th3j35t3r
Seriously though, I am into all of that kind of stuff though.
And Pink and The Brain. So you're not alone 🍻
@BillyBones I feel at times that I'm Pinky and the Brain in one body.....mainly Pinky though.😂 @th3j35t3r
@FrankCannon 😆 Well there's yours & Amy's Halloween outfits sorted!
And briefly going back to your original post - is this related to the skies over where you are now? When I moved over here I couldn't wait to see them (I've been into astronomy since I was a little boy) but despite living in the middle of nowhere, it's actually worse than it was in Liverpool thanks to the number of trees in one direction and a transport plant in the other 😠 @th3j35t3r
@BillyBones The star field above us is pretty spectacular,we cleared quite a few trees out for building space,drive,etc.Soon as we're able to I want to get a half decent professional telescope for up there. @th3j35t3r
we're in a Dark Sky part of the country and I just love seeing so many stars, after living right in the city most of my life.
@tgraph52 Same,only lived out in the countryside a handful of times and I've always loved watching the stars.
@tgraph52 @FrankCannon
Oh, the places I’ve been…
@sonnybillglover I have to keep quiet about most of them.😂 @tgraph52
