There are 8 Frank Lloyd Wright sites on the UNESCO World Heritage list. I’ve seen 7 of them :

* Unity Chapel in Oak Park, IL
* Robie House in Chicago
* Hollyhock House in LA
* Taliesin in Spring Green, WI
* Fallingwater in Mill Run, PA
* Taliesin West in Scottsdale, AZ
* The Guggenheim Museum in NY

One more to go — Jacobs House in Madison, WI — and the planets seem to be aligning so that I might actually see the site this summer!

There is one in West Lafayette, Indiana, just next to the Purdue campus. It’s not one of the more spectacular ones, so it’s not on any UNESCO list. But still, I have been in the house - attending a party - and it’s cool to make that connection.

@sonnybillglover @Route10 I've seen three of those UNESCO sites and lots more of his houses in Oak Park, plus the Pope-Leighey house in Alexandria, VA.

@peterquirk @sonnybillglover I’m a real FLWright groupie. I’ve seen all of those, plus more. Florida Southern College — the largest single-site collection of Wright architecture in the world — was SPECTACULAR! And the Martin House in Buffalo — WOW!!!

LOL — one 4th of July we had a “deluxe tour” of Fallingwater, and then dinner on one of the terraces!!
