I think the most terrified I have ever been was being in a high rise for work during earthquake. I was only on like fifth floor but the violent shaking and wave of the building was absolutely terrifying. I cried and was hyperventilating after first time experiencing one. Then as each one came after years living in CA you just get used to the duck, cover and hold. 🤷‍♀️👩‍🦰

@redsheri1 I was giving a speech to a room full of people in downtown Tokyo when a quake struck. We were on the 10th floor. The whole room shook. I paused for the tremor…. Then continued. Everyone was used to it. I did my best to remain calm. 😗

I was living in a beach house in Hawaii when hurricane Iniki blew through. We had to evacuate up country for the night. Scary

@sonnybillglover yeah first time I froze in terror then when I realized how bad it was and everyone reacting around me yelling etc I started crying and having a panic attack. It was a bad one though so even people who had been in them before were a bit shaken.

@sonnybillglover the second time I was in a bad one I was at home alone and my ceiling fan swayed so bad the tips of it hit the ceiling I grabbed my dog ran outside everything was shaking and the street started rolling was wild. I froze in fear until it was over. 👩‍🦰😫
