Twitter's massive accounts vs. everyone else.

Dont listen to a sock, of course. It is a free internet and you can be where you want to be. I looked into those though and I am glad to be here.

Hive has a user interface and algorithm problem. You are tossed into an echo chamber the moment you join. Tribel is Occupy Democrats and asks for a weird amount of personal information. I faked all that and it is basically far-left Twitter. Mastodon has a federated timeline that scrolls so fast as to be useless, and also has an impersonation and moderation problem. Abuse on all of them is amlost completely unchecked.

I am not sure what their appeal is when this place is here.

I've spent a fair amount of time on many of the Twitter alternatives and this one is the best. There's a level of simplicity and authenticity that doesn't exist among any of them. Many can best be described as "odd."

Twitter has basically become the comments section on YouTube.

Make #PizzaLove, not #PizzaWar.
