Sock's Social Media Notes:

• Twitter needs no description. It is bad and getting worse every day.
• Mastodon is chaos. Decentralization makes it an unmoderated abusive mess.
• Tribel is an extremely political echo chamber filled with creepy weirdos.
• Post is a shrine to joirnalists and influencers and their fawning stans.
• Spoutible is if those last two had a baby in a high school popularity contest.
• Gab, Truth, Parler are lost causes where idiots dwell.
• Others aren't worth mentioning. 🧦

Twitter is terrible. Easily the worst it has ever been. I do not know why I still lurk there.

To the best of my knowledge there has not been a social media breach that gave attackers the keys to two-factor authentication.

That is what makes the Spoutible breach unprecedented.

1. #Spoutible was leaking userdata for quite some time before it was contacted by a cyber security researcher and informed about the breach.

2. Bouzy does not know what he is doing but can pretend he does if he focuses on other cyber security incidents.

3. As far as I know this place has not had any cyber security indicents.

4. I lurk on all of the social media sites. This one is the best.

#Spoutible is going through some things.

#Spoutible continues to put its users at risk on the road to selling them all. Bouzy released a statement yesterday downplaying his most recent breach. But it doesn't get much worse than this.

He has no idea what he is doing. 🤡

There are good socks and bad socks.

Bad socks are bad.

Good socks are good.

I've known that it was over for a while.

In this kind of weather I double as a windsock.

1984 made Pedro Pascal a lot less attractive.

I was recently accused of being unwashed.

It amused me.

I haven't seen the inside of a shoe since I escaped from the laundry.

That costume did come with some gorgeous socks though.

If you think this social media site is bad right now, then you haven't spent much time on the other social media sites lately.

Just checking in to let you know that it doesn't get better than CounterSocial. I lurk everywhere and it is awful everywhere else.

I didn't just buy a sock I invented socks. I have out engineered everyone else at the sock game. Maankind didn't even conceive of socks until I socked my sock. Praise me for if not for me no socks would ever sock. Best sock. Sock.

One good thing about Counter Social is that the guy running it is not trying to create an army of stans who fawn over everything he does.

You might be surprised how much of that is happening on the other networks.

It is kind of pathetic.

I think some people are just bored and need to create drama. I do not come here for drama. I can find plenty of that on Tribel or Spoutible.

I lurk here because there is no racism. None. Of any kind. I lurk everywhere so I know. It is everywhere on every other social media site. Some are worse than others.

I wonder about the motives of the people who say that there is racism at this one because no, there is not.

The really bad people aren't on this social media platform. It is the best thing about it. I have spent a lot of time on all of the rest and it does not get more inclusive than CounterSocial.
