I've decided to make some cool candles for Christmas. 2 types...ice luminaries and floating oil candles. π #CoSoCrafts

Ice luminaries are beautiful πΏ
Nice!
Ooohh, these sound fascinating! In the past Iβve used glass etching paste to decorate candle holders & drinkware, or Iβll apply various beads.
@see_the_sus Oooh. I'd love to see those! The ice luminaries are for outside in winter as they are actually made of ice. I'm going to make them in advance and keep them in freezer until it is cold enough outside. They'll be so nice for Xmas.
All the ones I ever made were given to friends and I never thought to take photos.
@see_the_sus Rats. Lol. I've never done it but it sounds intriguing.
@smittycanada1 Iβd never heard of ice luminaries. Those look beautiful!
@Ellomumsy They look gorgeous. I'm in Canada, so there will definitely be cold weather for them so they last longer. π
@smittycanada1 so cool my wife wants to make those, what are the red berries, oil burning?
@SupplySgt The red berries are holly from my garden. They can be made with water or oil. This one is water with a floating candle. Oil need a floating wick. π
@smittycanada1 I thought that was holly, they are very nice, my wife thanks you for the info (so do I)

@SupplySgt Thank you. π

I have done similar ones before. Fun, original and pretty.
