Thursday evening when the rain stopped here I got out and salted the sidewalks in anticipation of the sub-zero temps and snow. Today I got out and shoveled the walks. Salting before hand helped a lot. So the oldest person in the block with a fused spine is the only house on the block with clear sidewalks. Go me
Holy shit, I just looked at my utility bill and it's over $400. I live in an 1100 sq ft house. I have never had a bill anywhere near this before
55 years ago today, when I was only 15 I lost my dad. He was only 5'3" but in my eyes he was a giant. He made the world a better place.

Had appointment today with surgeon. On Dec 29th my gallbladder and I are breaking up.
Today I filled by car up with gas at Sam's for $2.55 a gallon. Score!!!
But she has no plans to adopt dad. Like dude, you wanted to be a dad, that means clothing, diapers, day care. Believe me, she spent a hell of lot more than the $25 a day she gets as a foster parent. She obviously isn't in it for the money
Rant for tonight. My daughter is a foster parent, she had a precious baby up until a week ago when a judge awarded custody to dad who only appeared in the picture a couple of months ago. Today my daughter got a message that dad wanted her to send some clothes and toys for him. WTF? She spent thousands of $ of her own money clothing this baby as he grew. Not to mention the $32 a can for formula until he turned 1. She was hoping to get to adopt.
Had to go for some medical tests today, in the waiting room they had Fox on tv, but the remote was in there too, I grabbed it and changed the channel
