Imagine if so called Christians worked to make government programs to help the poor and sick as beneficial and efficient as possible and to help the most people as they "mission" to follow Christ's teaching. I'm know there are a few here, but that's the exception, not the rule.
@sfleetucker Look at the plus side, the church hasn't burned Jews at the stake since 1736.

The main problem with this, is that the "true" Christian, is called to serve, not to rule. And the "false" Christian is called to rule, and not to serve.
