This nasty bug is also present--and needs to be patched--in Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, and all the other Chromium-based web browsers.

@Agatha I checked and Safari isn't listed in the article or the CVE, so I'm not sure where that assertion is coming from.

Safari has been shown to need patches for previous "zero day" exploits (just last year, in fact), so I wouldn't bank on it being magically immune. It might be to this one, or they just haven't figured it out yet. Apple can sometimes be sluggish to admit to issues and even more sluggish to respond. Just be aware. 🤷🏻♀️
